Definitely setting the benchmark for free diving. Frederic Reef seems to have been a good haul. Keep up the vids boys! Much prefer to SCUBA myself but just with a snorkel and mask is cool if you can hold your breath.

The spearguns are capable of severly wounding and killing the large sharks but they are so strong you can kiss a lot of gear goodbye. They will tangle gear, bend spears and cause so much confusion if the shot is not perfect that we tend to just fend them off, and if they get too aggressive we get out of the water and go somewhere else.

Would your speargun be powerful enough to seriously hurt those big sharks? Did you ever try it? Or do you just kind of poke them when they come to close? Just asking 'cause I'm new to the sport but enjoyed the vid a lot. Thanx for sharing! |
